Kastella
A SMALL TOWN FOR ENJOYING YOURSELVES 

Built on a hill, which is also known as Profitis Elias, Kastella is the loveliest neighborhood that you can find in Piraeus. This hill full of houses close to Mikrolimano is a real town to hide away from the crazy city life that surrounds. Let yourselves wander through Kastella and while you are looking for the way towards the top of the hill you will find yourselves without noticing in narrow streets surrounded by picturesque houses. 

Some of them are neoclassical building between moderns ones; also you will be surprised for their localization hanging over the sea. Don't surrender before reaching the top because from there the view of the central harbor, Zea and Mikrolimano, the whole Saronic Gulf, is unique. Anyway this hill was chosen by ThemistoKles to build the acropolis of the recent created city.
