THE CONTACT WITH THE SEA

For those who enjoy walking near the water, there is one wonderful avenue all along the sea that takes you to the side of Piraeus most far away from the continent.

Themistokleous Street starts in Zea's port and will take you to Palaska Bay. In the way you will find tiny bays where you can relax, otherwise you can try some of the Fish Taverns that are located on the other side of the road.

A real good day you can spend there, only the views of the Saronic Gulf worth a visit. This street ends close to the Royal Navy Academy of Piraeus.

From the Palaska you can enjoy the view of its old buildings, where some of the Greek great military leaders have studied as Ioannen Leonidas, at the same time you can lie down in this beach.
